The 2019 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series made its way down south for round 7 in Arlington, TX.
H.E.P. Motorsports started its weekend Friday at the stadium; Adam Enticknap took part in interviews with the local and regional news station for the state of Texas including Good Morning Texas. The day concluded at Freedom Powersports where Chisholm, Ray and Enticknap all took part in the dealer autograph signing. The event was another success with a packed crowd and tons of happy fans. One major takeaway from this past weekend was Kyle Chisholm finishing in 14th overall.
Kyle Chisholm #11 – It was a rough start to the day but a strong finish in the end for season veteran. Missing the Main in his heat race by one transfer position he was forced to race the LCQ. In the last chance we saw him get to a great start locking down a transfer position early on; he finished in 3rd place. In the main we saw the strong racing continue as Kyle went out and got his best finish so far this season with 14th place overall.
Alex Ray #62 – Racing exceptionally well so far this season it was a rough night for A-Ray. In his heat race we saw him get out to a good start running as high as 5th place until a crash midway through the race forced him to pull off. In the LCQ, we saw Alex jump out to a holeshot and he continued to lead for multiple laps before finishing in 2nd to Barcia. In the main event A-Ray was not able to match his first two starts and was forced to the back of the pack. As the race continued, he raced very aggressively moving up the field but sadly two crashes in the corner before the whoops and the corner after the finish costed him valuable positions Alex finished the night in 19th place overall.
Adam Enticknap #97 – Getting closer and closer, Enticknap falls short; it was another rough night for the crowd favorite Seven-Deuce-Deuce. Qualifying with ease the day was full of promise. Being placed in a stacked heat class Adam raced very aggressively unfortunately he was not able to climb his way into a transfer position and missed the main by 2 positions. In the LCQ, Adam got out to a good start inside the top ten. As the race continued he moved himself into 5th with the final transfer spot in sight; Sadly, the time expired and he missed the main by one position.
H.E.P. Motorsports is headed to the Detroit, MI for round 8 of the 2019 Monster Energy AMA Supercross series. Expect to see Kyle Chisholm continue his strong main event performances as he’s coming off his best finish yet. Look for Alex Ray to keep jumping out to strong starts and to continue making the main events. H.E.P Motorsports is ready to take on Motor City!
