Custom Motorcycle Brake Lines
Whether you’re running tall ape hangers, mid-rise bars, or a tucked café setup, we spec each line for proper pressure handling, flex range, and clean routing. You get the right length, the right fit, and a system that responds the way it should. From show bikes to stunt builds, from ape hangers to clip-ons, we’ve seen every kind of bar setup, caliper relocation, and tight routing challenge. Our kits aren’t universal, they’re made to work the first time, with everything you need in the box.
Got weird forks? Big bars? Off-center mounts? That’s what we’re here for.
Every GBrakes® line is:
Built with PTFE inner cores and stainless steel outer braid
Rated to DOT standards for pressure and safety
Cut and crimped to spec, not stock
Laser-measured and tested before shipping
Available in custom lengths, colors, and fittings at no extra charge
Made and designed in the USA
How to Build the Right One:
Customs are made to exact spec, length, fittings, material, and routing. You don’t force them to fit, and you don’t add sketchy adapters. Everything bolts up clean.
Universals rely on adjustable ends or excess slack, which makes routing messy and pressure inconsistent. That’s not how you build confidence at the lever.
We use only stainless steel braided sheathing over PTFE (Teflon) inner cores. That combo resists pressure expansion and prevents the mushy feel you get with rubber. Unlike stock flexible ones, those that are braided don’t balloon under hard braking.
Our kits use:
- Steel braided brake line with high temp resistance
- Zinc-plated or stainless fittings
- DOT-compliant pressure ratings
- Optional color sleeves + labeling
The most common failure on a custom brake job? Guessing line length. Bar swaps, risers, rearsets, and caliper conversions all change geometry.
We walk you through how to measure your needed length, from master to caliper, and confirm banjo angles for stress-free motion. Yours should flex with your suspension, not against it.
Need help mid-build? We’ll spec it for you, just give us bar height, brake type, and fitment goals.
Custom Options: Why Details Matter
Every kit is built to match your vision. Want red sheaths? No problem. Black stainless fittings to match your lowers? Done. Dual-disc fronts with a crossover line and custom junction? Easy.
Yours should look as good as they perform, and ours do both.
When to Replace Brake Lines
- You changed bars or rearsets
- Current lines are too tight or rubbing
- Line is older than 5 years or rubber is cracking
- You want firmer lever feel and less fade
Our customs don’t just improve safety, they make the whole ride feel sharper. And when done right, they last way longer than rubber.
