Motorcycle Brake Brackets for Caliper
Precision Across All Builds
Motorcycle Brake Brackets
With over 70 years of accumulated braking knowledge and expertise, Gbrakes® is your trusted partner when OEM components don’t cut it. We serve VTwin, Sport & Street, Dirt, and Dual‑Sport motorcycle enthusiasts, offering a portfolio of high‑quality braking components.
Brake brackets aren’t just mounts; they’re the backbone of brake performance. Whether you’re dialing in a cross‑platform sportbike, decking out an ADV build, or setting up a hard‑charging dirt machine, precision bracket geometry ensures your calipers stay true, pads wear evenly, and braking feel stays crisp. Gbrakes® brackets are built with race‑grade materials, PC‑verified fitment, and no‑compromise reliability.
Many riders upgrade pads, rotors, and lines, but leave the brackets unchecked. That’s a mistake. Brackets are usually stamped OEM parts sized for factory configurations, sold without thought to aftermarket rotor diameter, caliper swap, or dropped bike hits.
More Info
Even small shifts in caliper alignment can result in:
- Rotor rub, especially under travel or flex
- Uneven pad wear, one side wearing before the other
- Vibration or lever flicker when the bracket flexes
- Compromised caliper sweep angle, reducing pad contact area
- Torque creep, leaving bolts loose after rides
Gbrakes brackets solve this with:
- Laser‑cut precision to ±0.1mm per production -ensuring repeatable, exact caliper-to-rotor alignment
- Material-grade builds: 6061-T6 aluminum for lighter bikes; 4140 chromoly steel where toughness matters
- Bike-model verified geometry across suspension travel, pannier mounts, and chain/belt alignments
- Dual-side compatibility: brackets that support front and rear conversions, wave rotors, and multiple caliper brands
- Plug-and-play hardware: included torque specs, washers, and fit checklists, no guessing
Secure bracket installation instantly improves braking reliability. It holds everything tight when the rest of the system goes to work.

Why Caliper Alignment is a Game Changer for Braking Feel
- Inconsistent bite - some lever presses bite hard, others fade
- Hot spots - uneven pressure causes rotor warping
- Braking chatter - bracket flex transfers vibration
- Control loss - unpredictability removes rider confidence
- 6061-T6 Aluminum: front‑end mounts stay light, stiff, and rust‑resistant
- 4140 Chromoly Steel: rear-end and heavy-load mounts take impact and stress without flex
- Laser‑cut stainless steel integration tabs for cable anchors or brake switches
- Anodized / Powder-Coated Finish: resists corrosion from trekked puddles or salty roads
- Reinforced gussets: flex points addressed for rock contact, hard drops, and wheel changing stress
- Model/Year Compliance – Each bracket tagged for specific bikes, e.g., “YZF-R6 2015–2023” or “KTM 500EXC 19+”
- Rotor Size – 300mm wave, 320mm cross‑country, or 280mm street - bracket face meets rotor edge
- Caliper Type – Works with Brembo M4.32, Nissin radial, or dual-piston setups
- Suspension Travel – Geometry tested across full fork or shock travel to prevent rub
- Accessory Clearance – Checks include panniers, frame sliders, ABS sensors, and fender clearances
- Surface prep – Clean hub or swingarm contact faces to remove debris
- Torque values – Provided in each bracket package; use a calibrated torque wrench
- Alignment check – With wheel off, insert a straightedge from rotor edge across bracket
- Wheel and caliper mount – Spin wheel to check for drag
- Trail ride check – First ride, confirm no bracket movement or bolt twist
- Seasonal check – Inspect bracket bolts and torque after first 200 miles
- Noticeable rotor rub after installation
- Vibration or pad chatter during selective braking
- Loose bolts - even after proper torque
- Cracks or flex visually in the bracket or stress marks
- Braking inconsistency in repeated usage
- Upgrading components like rotors or calipers without changing bracket
Brake Brackets Keep the System in Sync
Poor motorcycle brackets equal poor brakes. Gbrakes brakes are a system, and brackets are the backbone. Push pads, lines, or rotors without proper support and you get geometry chaos, not better performance. Our brackets tie everything together, so your stops feel precise, feel strong, and beat out any “almost-there” OEM compromise.
Time to fix the foundation, bolt one on and stop second-guessing your braking.
Bracket Fitment Integrates with Gbrakes® Ecosystem
Pair your bracket with:
- Gbrakes Rotors – matched to bracket geometry for flush mounting
- Performance Brake Pads – ensures full pad sweep and torque path
- Steel‑Braided Brake Lines – routes along bracket zones without rub or pinching
- Upgradeable Kits – bracket included with PKG for VTwin or ADV conversions
We design components for bundle synergy, fit once, ride everything.

Amazing Company and EmployeesPosted on J SMay 23, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Customer service was amazing. Excellent products.Posted on Bill SFebruary 13, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. 1990 Suzuki VX800 Well, honestly I was just looking at the website to see what they offered and how easy/difficult it would be to get a part for my particular machine. As usual I looked at the menu and utilized their drop down options, and as usual my particular bike was not listed. I usually stop at this point and move on BUT decided to use their "Inquiry Request" form and see how long it would take. Here is were I have to be realistic, this could be a small operation where all the employees and owner/operator are probably working and answer inquiries in the evening, no problems, I can wait. The following day a representative by the name of Stu answered back and stated they did in fact have the specifications for my ride, he listed the item number and price and added if I would like to go thru with the order I can call. He also apoligized for any inconvenience since my bike was not listed, but lets face it folks, if they listed every single bike manufactured since the dawn of time I would be on that site all day. Call I did, it was Stu that picked up and after 30 seconds he knew who I was by motorcycle type. Stu took down what color line and banjo fitting (Natural of course) and of course "CC" and mailing address. He did ask how much of a hurry I was to get the lines. As I stare out the window and see 4" of snow on the ground "sigh"...."Not in a hurry Stu, they get here when they get here". Everything verified via email to include shipping information and within 7 working days 2 beautiful steel braided lines arrived at my door step, box O goodies with stickers too!!....... Now if only Stu can ship the riding season in a box :)Posted on NickMay 19, 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Set and forget bicycle brake rotors.
