Custom Motorcycle Brake Lines

Built for Real Fitment

Introducing our Custom Line Builder. GBrakes® Custom Brake Lines are built to match your exact bar height, caliper setup, and geometry. Each line uses PTFE cores, stainless braids, and machined fittings to resist flex and expansion. Every line is cut to length, pressure-tested, and DOT-rated for real-world safety. Choose colors, banjo angles, and finishes, shipped pre-bled and ready to install.

Use the Custom Line Builder to create your setup.

You don’t ride stock. So why run stock-length brake lines? Gbrakes® builds custom motorcycle brake lines that match your bars, controls, and build, not a factory default.  We’re more than just custom colors, we’re serious about performance. Every GBrakes® product is engineered for riders who expect more from their brakes: more stopping power, more durability, and more control, with no compromise on style. Each line is built with a braided stainless steel outer and a PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) core to reduce expansion, resist heat, and keep lever feel sharp and consistent under load. Every hose is DOT-rated, pressure-tested, and spec’d for real-world riding, not just bench numbers.

Use our Custom Line Builder to tailor your brake line setup to achieve the exact look, fit, and function your build requires. Whether you’re building for the street, track, or full show, we’ve got the lengths, finishes, and hardware to match.

With decades of expertise and U.S.-based technical support, GBrakes® custom solutions give you the freedom to build braking systems as unique as your ride. For riders and builders who want more than off-the-shelf, GBrakes® offers Custom Solutions that put performance and personalization in your hands.

We’re talking custom braided brake lines, stainless steel options, and pressure-rated kits with exact lengths, angles, and fittings. Whether you need a single extension or a full motorcycle brake line kit, this is braking hardware tuned to your geometry, not a template.

Fitment isn’t just about length. We dial in banjo angle, thread pitch, and mounting flex for zero kinks and clean lever feel. Add custom color sheaths or match your hardware, we don’t build “close enough.” We build it right.

No sponge. No flex. Just lines that hold pressure and snap back every time you grab the lever.

Every GBrakes® line is:

Built with PTFE inner cores and stainless steel outer braid

Rated to DOT standards for pressure and safety

Cut and crimped to spec, not stock

Laser-measured and tested before shipping

Available in custom lengths, colors, and fittings at no extra charge

Whether you’re running tall ape hangers, mid-rise bars, or a tucked café setup, we spec each line for proper pressure handling, flex range, and clean routing. You get the right length, the right fit, and a system that responds the way it should. From show bikes to stunt builds, from ape hangers to clip-ons, we’ve seen every kind of bar setup, caliper relocation, and tight routing challenge. Our kits aren’t universal, they’re made to work the first time, with everything you need in the box.

Got weird forks? Big bars? Off-center mounts? That’s what we’re here for.

How to Build the Right One:

Most brake problems on custom builds come down to bad line fitment. Too short, too long, wrong bend, wrong routing, it doesn’t take much to wreck brake feel or worse, shear a line under load.
Custom vs Universal Brake Lines

Customs are made to exact spec, length, fittings, material, and routing. You don’t force them to fit, and you don’t add sketchy adapters. Everything bolts up clean.

Universals rely on adjustable ends or excess slack, which makes routing messy and pressure inconsistent. That’s not how you build confidence at the lever.

Brake Line Material: What You’re Actually Getting

We use only stainless steel braided sheathing over PTFE (Teflon) inner cores. That combo resists pressure expansion and prevents the mushy feel you get with rubber. Unlike stock flexible ones, those that are braided don’t balloon under hard braking.

Our kits use:

It’s the same formula used in racing, but pressure-rated and road-ready.
Brake Line Length: Don’t Guess, Measure

The most common failure on a custom brake job? Guessing line length. Bar swaps, risers, rearsets, and caliper conversions all change geometry.

We walk you through how to measure your needed length, from master to caliper, and confirm banjo angles for stress-free motion. Yours should flex with your suspension, not against it.

Need help mid-build? We’ll spec it for you, just give us bar height, brake type, and fitment goals.

Custom Options: Why Details Matter

Every kit is built to match your vision. Want red sheaths? No problem. Black stainless fittings to match your lowers? Done. Dual-disc fronts with a crossover line and custom junction? Easy.

Yours should look as good as they perform, and ours do both.

When to Replace Brake Lines

Our customs don’t just improve safety, they make the whole ride feel sharper. And when done right, they last way longer than rubber.
