Custom Motorcycle Brake Rotors
That Actually Fit the Way You Ride
Introducing our Custom Rotor Builder. GBrakes® Custom Motorcycle Rotors are made to your exact spec, bolt pattern, offset, thickness, finish, and cooling profile. Every unit is cut from 420 stainless, hardened and treated for durability, then machined for precise fitment. Choose from round, slotted, or Wave® profiles to dial in more bite, better heat dissipation, or weight savings. All of our customs are engineered in the USA, and manufactured in Spain.

More Info
Swapping rotors shouldn’t feel like rolling the dice. Gbrakes® delivers custom motorcycle brake rotors tailored to your machine down to the bolt pattern, carrier fitment, offset, thickness, and cooling profile. You pick the size, finish, and face profile. We make sure it performs the way it should, no guesswork, no modification needed. Most OEM rotors are built to meet basic ride comfort, not aggressive braking. And most off-the-shelf “upgrade” kits fail to deliver where it matters. They’re often too thin for real heat cycling, too heavy for nimble handling, or sized generically with the wrong offset or float height. That’s how you end up with brake fade, warped discs, and mismatched pad contact.
Gbrakes® cuts every rotor from high-carbon 420 stainless steel, hardened and treated for durability and thermal performance. We offer round, slotted, and Wave® profiles to match your setup, whether you’re tuning for more bite, better heat shedding, or weight savings. You’re not locked into what’s on the shelf. With our Custom Rotor Builder – Create the perfect rotor to match your unique bike or project, blending performance upgrades with style. Whether you’re upgrading one wheel or building a full custom setup, we spec to your needs. You tell us your axle, carrier, pad compound, and goals, we dial in metallurgy, float, face profile, and fitment.
This is real custom. Built around your spec, and made in the USA.
We build custom motorcycle rotors for riders and builders who don’t settle for stock.
- Street builds that need more bite without more noise.
- Sportbikes that demand oversized or vented discs.
- ADV riders who warp rotors in back-to-back descent.
- V-Twins with dual fronts and serious unsprung mass..
- Cafe projects that need weight savings and clearance.
You tell us your axle setup, caliper, pad compound, and goals. We’ll get the metallurgy and measurements right. No shims.
No grinding. No hacks. Just the rotor you actually needed in the first place.
Brake Disc Materials, Design, and When to Go Custom
Most factory rotors are cast stainless, cheap, easy, and “good enough” until heat and mileage catch up. Gbrakes rotors are spec’d from high-carbon steel, stainless composite, or floating ring assemblies depending on application. Want reduced warping, faster recovery, and sharper bite? Material is everything.
- High carbon steel rotors: Run cooler, resist thermal distortion, and hold up to heavy deceleration loads.
- Stainless steel: Best for wet weather, low-corrosion environments, and consistent everyday use.
- Floating rotors: Separate carrier + friction ring allows lateral movement to manage expansion and stay true under high temps.
- Drilled/wave designs: Help shed heat and debris, reduce rotating mass, and give that aggressive look—without compromising integrity.
- Rotor outer diameter (OD)
- Disc thickness and carrier offset
- Mounting hole pattern (e.g. 5-bolt, 6-bolt)
- Floating vs. fixed compatibility
- Caliper clearance and pad sweep zone
You want full pad contact with no overhang, perfect centering in the caliper, and no vibration under load. We dial it all in, so when the lever drops, the disc grabs clean.
We also handle setups for oversized rotor kits, aftermarket caliper compatibility, and staggered dual-disc builds.
When to Upgrade Your Brake Rotors
- You're warping discs after one track day or canyon run
- Lever feel goes mushy under repeated braking
- You’ve swapped to aftermarket calipers and lost pad contact
- You’re running hot sintered pads but your rotors glaze over
- You’re tired of fighting pulsing, hotspots, or rotor ring cracks
Use Cases We See Daily
- Sportbikes: Oversized vented or floating rotors with high-carbon rings for track reliability
- Cruisers / V-Twins: Dual front rotors with weight-saving carriers and heat-resistant coatings
- Adventure / Dual-Sport: Drilled wave rotors for lightweight, self-cleaning action
- Customs / Cafe Racers: Lightweight carriers and minimalistic wave profiles that match your build
Use our Custom Rotor Builder for your custom motorcycle brake rotors. Choose what fits your speed, weight, and ride style. We’ll spec it. You bolt it. Done.
