Motorcycle Brake Pads

That Stop What You Ride

GBrakes® Motorcycle Brake Pads are engineered as direct-fit replacements for OEM pads, built to deliver stronger bite, better heat resistance, and long-term reliability. Available in sintered, ceramic, and organic compounds, every pad is tested for predictable feel and fade resistance across V-Twin, Sport, and Dirt bikes. Select the right compound and find the right ones for your ride.

Proudly engineered in the USA and manufactured in Europe.

GBrakes® motorcycle brake pads are an ideal upgrade and replacement for OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) pads. We deliver reliability and stopping power for improved performance for VTWIN, Sport/Street and Dirt/Dual sport bikes. We offer brake pads supporting all riding styles and makes and models including Harley Davidson®, Indian®, Ducati®, Kawasaki®, Honda®, Yamaha®, BMW® and many others.

Visit our Parts Finder or Shop by Ride to locate the best one for you.

Every pad we stock is selected for what it does under load: stopping power, heat resistance, and real-world reliability. This is a curated line of compounds that keep braking consistent, mile after mile, stop after stop.

What Sets GBrakes® Motorcycle Brake Pads Apart From The Competition?

Technology

Ours utilize a premier bonding technology called *NUCAP NRS™, a patented process where the back plate surface is modified with a matrix of steel bonded hooks that facilitate an indestructible bond between the pad backing plate and friction material without any use of adhesives. After the pads are baked using this process, it becomes a single solid strengthened reinforced piece versus traditional pads, that are usually glued together. The result is safer, durable, and more reliable.

Quality Control

We settle only for the best in quality control and production. GBrakes® products are made in a factory that is ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and IATF Certified

Environmentally Friendly

GBrakes® sintered pads contain NO copper or nickel, which is better for the environment.

Every fitment is backed by technical knowledge and real platform experience. Need help sorting it out? We’ll spec it. If you’ve ever lost a lever feel halfway down a descent, you already know why that matters.

Pad Compounds, Performance, and What to Look For

Choosing the right option means understanding how compounds behave under heat, pressure, and speed. Ours aren’t just friction blocks are your first line of control. Choosing wrong affects bite, fade resistance, noise, feel, and rotor longevity.
Sintered Brake Pads (Metallic Compound)

Sintered pads are made from powdered metal pressed and baked at high temperatures. The result is a high-friction pad that thrives under abuse. These pads handle heat better than anything else. They bite hard when hot, recover quickly between braking zones, and maintain performance when lighter compounds give up.

They’re ideal for:

Downside? They can be loud, harder on rotors, and overkill for lighter machines. But for braking confidence under pressure, sintered is the gold standard.
Organic Brake Pads
Ceramic Brake Pads (Non-Metallic Compound)

Ceramic pads combine ceramic fibers with copper or carbon for a stable, smooth compound. They produce less dust, stay quiet, and offer more linear lever feel. Carbon/Ceramic Hybrid Pads – Engineered exclusively for professional racing applications.

They work well for:

They don’t offer the raw bite of sintered pads, especially when cold, but for riders who value feel over peak friction, they’re a smart move.
Ceramic Brake Pads
Organic Brake Pads (Non-Asbestos Organic / NAO)

Organic pads are made with resin-bonded natural and synthetic fibers. They’re quiet, easy on rotors, and cheap to replace. That said, they’re not built for heat. Glazing, fading, and accelerated wear are common if pushed too hard.
Use these only if:

For aggressive riding or repeated hard stops, skip organic. You’ll chew through them and compromise stopping power.

How to Choose Based on Riding Style

Riders often think fitment is the only thing that matters. Wrong. The right pad for a Yamaha R3 isn’t the same as for a loaded Gold Wing or a Ducati on track. Choose based on:

If you’ve ever boiled fluid or warped a rotor, you already know pad compound matters. It’s the difference between firm, predictable stops, or lever panic when you’re hot and heavy into a corner.

The right pad delivers more than friction, it gives you control, feel, and trust in your machine’s response. If your current setup doesn’t inspire that, you’re on the wrong material.
