V-Twin Motorcycle Brake Rotors
That Stop Real Torque
If you’re on a V-Twin, you’re not coasting. You’re moving 700 to 900+ pounds of loaded mass, and your rotors better be ready for it. Long descents. City heat. Stop-and-go traffic with a tour pack and passenger. GBrakes®’ V-Twin motorcycle brake rotors are built for that kind of punishment, not showroom spec sheets. Each rotor is laser-cut from 420-grade stainless steel, double-disc ground for perfect symmetry, and heat-treated for strength without brittleness. All engineered in the USA, and manufactured in Europe. The result? Minimal warp. Maximum bite. Consistent feel, even when your fluid’s cooking and your rear shock is slammed from a gear-loaded climb.
More Info
Our signature Wave® Rotors reduce rotating weight and improve heat dissipation without compromising surface contact. They’re engineered to stay cooler and respond faster when the lever’s at full pull and you’re fighting gravity, load, and friction all at once. This isn’t off-the-shelf steel. It’s cryo-treated, U.S.-assembled, and backed by techs who ride what they build. Custom colors. Multiple sizes. Assembled to order. From Sturgis to Daytona, and every mountain pass in between, GBrakes® rotors are trusted by V-Twin riders who don’t have time to wonder if their brakes will hold up.
They already do.
Brake feel is everything. It’s the difference between reacting and controlling. And if you’ve ever taken a loaded V-Twin into a fast corner or hit traffic on a downgrade, you know this already, in your bones.
Brake feel is what tells your brain, “You’re safe. This lever’s got you.” But stock systems? They’re vague. Over-assisted. Or worse — inconsistent. One squeeze feels solid, the next feels like marshmallow. That’s not just annoying. That’s dangerous.
What Gbrakes® Rotors Deliver
420 Grade Stainless Steel
We use high-carbon 420-grade stainless for max heat resistance, minimal distortion, and consistent pad contact under heavy braking. It holds its shape when lesser rotors would warp, especially on long, loaded rides where heat doesn’t let up.
Double Disc Ground
Both faces of the rotor are precision-ground for perfect flatness and thickness consistency. That means true pad engagement across the full sweep, no hotspots, no pad tapering, no uneven bite. Just smooth, stable braking at every lever pull.
Laser Cut + Heat Treated
Each rotor is CNC laser-cut for clean edges, precise mounting holes, and balanced slot geometry. After cutting, rotors are heat-treated to eliminate stress points and increase long-term durability.
Multiple Sizes + Custom Colors
Whether you’re running a stock front end or a big wheel conversion, we’ve got rotor sizes to match. Add in optional color anodizing or contrast cuts to fit your build’s finish, form meets function, no compromise.
Assembled to Order
Every Gbrakes® rotor is built, inspected, and packed only after your order is submitted. You get fresh hardware, checked for runout, thickness, and torque-spec integrity.
Support That Speaks Your Language
Call in. Ask questions. Talk to real riders who know what fork offset is and what rotor thickness means under heat. We solve problems from the first call to the install.
We built them for long miles, steep descents, heavy bikes, and real heat, not for showroom floor specs.
If you’ve ever felt your brake lever get lazy halfway through a ride, this is the fix. With parts made in the U.S.A.

We spec by use, weight, and real ride conditions, not catalog filler. Fixed, floating, oversized pick based on how you ride. We’ll make sure it stops.

- Hard canyon braking
- Loaded bagger touring
- Repeated high-speed stops
Fixed rotors are solid, one-piece units. Cleaner and quieter, they’re great for simple city riding or restoration builds, but not what you want for heavy braking under load.
If you’re warping discs after a summer of riding, floating is the way to go.
These don’t stop the bike alone, pads do the friction, and if they don’t match the disc, you’re just burning parts. Gbrakes® offers:
- Sintered pads for max heat and bite
- Ceramic compounds for quiet, low-dust daily setups
- Organic formulas for low-speed, lightweight cruisers
We don’t let you mismatch. Each one has a companion pad pairing that actually enhances performance, not kills it. Want better feel? Add braided steel lines and complete the circuit.
- A blue tint or burnt edge along the disc
- Grooves you can catch with a fingernail
- Vibrations at brake lever pull
- Uneven pad wear
- Torque bolts to spec
- Clean mounting surfaces, no grease or dirt
- Use threadlocker where required
- Check caliper alignment post-install
- Bed-in with progressive stops, not panic grabs
We also supply optional bolt kits and bracket adapters when fitment needs adjustment.
What Makes a Legit V-Twin Brake Rotor?
- Oversized dimensions (11.5″–12.6″): For extra heat sink and leverage.
- Thickness that holds flat: No flex, no fade, no warping after 500 miles.
- Material options: Stainless steel for corrosion resistance, or high-carbon for aggressive bite.
- Vent and wave profiles: Drop unsprung weight, cut temps, increase pad bite.
- Finish matters: Non-directional surfacing prevents glazing. Coatings hold up under hard stops and salty roads.
These aren’t generic fitment parts, they’re spec’d for American V-Twin platforms with exact bolt circles, correct carrier offsets, and full pad sweep zones. If you’ve ever cooked one on an uphill run with a passenger and bags, you already know why this detail matters.
Customize These, Form Follows Function
- Carrier color: Black, chrome, red, gold
- Ring design: Standard, drilled, wave
